FJAN - the network for former students Finnish-Japanese Alumni Network (FJAN) is the professional and social network for all Japanese graduates, postgraduates, teachers and professors who have studied or worked at a university in Finland. Through FJAN, you can stay in touch with your friends from your own university in Finland. You will also have the latest news from the university and a direct contact with today's students - the colleagues of tomorrow.

Your contribution needed for JASSO Study Abroad Fair 2010 in Tokyo, 23 September 2010 JASSO (Japan Students Services Organization) organizes every year Study Abroad Fair in Tokyo, and they are looking for a Japanese person who Has studied at a Finnish university either bachelor or master, doctor level at least one academic year (9 months), and Returned to Japan after 2007. His or her task is to give advices and answer inquiries to those who come to the fair to get more information on studying in Finland. The fair will be in Odaiba from 11:00 to 17:00. The Director of the Finnish Institute in Japan, Dr. Heikki Mäkipää, says that this alumni database opens a new era on the relations between Japan and Finland.
